A BIRTHDAY FUNFAIR WITHOUT THE CELEBRANT

   That day was supposed to be "his day" his birthday. The tables were set, the occation DJ was on stand-by and all the necessary things that would have made that day a memorable one were provided. No stone was left unturned. They searched for him every where but he was nowhere to be found!

  One day, I bump into a very closed person to me. Before him stood a "gorgeous" table well "decorated" with all kinds of ALCOHOLIC DRINKS with packs of different types of CIGARETTE. The surrounding atmosphere was full of smoke neither was it from a nearby burning bush nor from a dump site but from multiple of mouths who were busy drawing smoke from sticks of cigarettes and releasing it to the atmosphere. I watched with "admiration" at the site as what I saw rather made me bled within.

  I put a question to him, what is going on here? and he said "I am celebrating chrismas". I startled for a moment seeing the height and the level of ignorance he displayed.
Then goes my second question to him; how do you celebrate without the celebrant?

  The devil rejoices more seeing the above description, why? Because he will beat his chest and applaud himself for having succeeded in misleading many, all in the name of celebrating chrismas. In such celebration, sin increases and hell bound men and women increase in number.

  Friends: JESUS was born in a manger (Luke 2 vs 7-8) signifying humility. And there was no funfair at his birth because it wasn't necessary.

  He came to set many free from sin which signifies suber reflection, (Matthew 1 vs 21) rather than taking many into sin through the ignorance celebration of his birth.

WORSHIP THE LORD INSTEAD:

  At this season, Join the wise men and the host of Angels to worship the Lord for the privilege of seeing the year ending.  (Matthew 2 vs 11; Luke 2 vs 11-14)

  You can turn to JESUS today through a sincere acknowledgement and a genuine repentance. He loves you and would want to have you in a personal and a consistent relationship. Be involved in things that gives glory to God and promote His kingdom.

May the Lord preserves and keep you in Him.

  Within your members, there are two inseparable duo that are working in close relationship to design your future.   The only situation that has come in between the love of God and man is the issue of DISOBEDIENCE. This same situation applies to the relationship between a man and his children,the father's love will grow and increase when all his children are in obedience to his commands. In that same home his love will definitely diminished or even vanished and appropriete punishment meted out if his beloved children decided to do the very opposite.Living in flagrant disobedience and self will,and do whatsoever pleased them.

  When God says thou shall not steal,bear false witness, kill or commit adultry for example, one cannot angage in that and expect the love of God to remain the same.No! The love of God in this case cannot remain the same because the person is walking against His instructions.

What brings God wrath and punishment upon man is flagrant disobedience to His words. In other hand,walking in harmony with His words and commands endears any man to God.

  When it comes to faking and negating God's works,satan with all his agents and demons are experts. He started this negative works at the garden of Eden when he confused the woman with God express command.

  If the gays and the lesbians by their positions and power legalises same sex  union and tend to close the mouth of God's servant who should warn the nation of impending judgment. And by repentance should avert God's judgment,then, there is danger.

  If someone on a sunny day closes his eyes and say that there's no sun, does that stop the sun from shinning? No! He has just succeeded in deceiving himself.

  Many kept themselves under this yoke because of gains.While others are influenced and possessed by this spirit because they made themslves vulnerable.While many ignorantly accepted it as an alternative lifestyle.
I know, many of the gays and the lesbians would want to leave the act, but because of the covenant some have sworn to and the compelling force behind the act.They are afraid of the consequence of breaking the covenant, while many are really dying in silent without knowing the way out.
Let me announce to you that there is a way out. If you can seek refuge in Christ Jesus and hide your life in Him, as the Highest Authority, you shall be saved. Don't be afraid, for many have been set free from that shackle and today they are living testimonies of God's manifold love. You too can be one.

 ANOTHER EFFECTIVE MIND CONTROL

  One force that is seriously in contention for the soul of the majority of the young people and some of the adult is the ''god of sooccer''. Some one has rightly put it, ''football is a religion.'' It is indeed a religion with it's doctrines and believes,with massive followers who are ready to worship and die for it course.Laying credence to this is the daily springing up of football betting businesses with massive participation of the young folks including men and women.I learnt the statue of one particular footballer were being worshipped at a particular time in a country.

  Any Christian gathering that is not ''Holy Ghost centered'',may not get reasonable turnout if the time of that meeting clashes with any major football competition. I've heard about many followers who fought to defend it,and many who died in their mission to support their own when they are under threat.This is another mind control and a serious diversion.
To the wise hearted,if you do the investgation you will discover more than what is written here.

ANYTHING YOU LOVE MORE THAN GOD,WHICH CAN ALSO REPLACE HIM AT ANY TIME IN YOUR LIFE IS YOUR IDOL.

  One of the recommended spiritual excercises to keep a spiritual athlete fit for heavenly race is
SCRIPTURAL FASTING.

Scriptural fasting accomplishes a good number of things in the life of a spiritual Athlete, they are:

* It chastens and humbles your soul before God - Psalm 35:13; 69:10.

* It crucify the appetite and strengthens the soul to long more for the Lord.  2Samuel 12:16-23.

* Keeps you focus on God to the exclusion of all else.  1Corinthians 7:5. 

* It abased the flesh and strengthens the soul against temptation.  Matthew 4:1-11.

* Fasting help you in exercising Authority over demons. Matthew 17:14-21.

* It make your prayer powerful and effective.

* Fasting keep your flesh under check and subjection.

* It help to strengthen your focus on heavenly Goals.Etc.

  In our days,one of the things that has steadily gain popularity is religion. And  it is very easy for anybody to identify with one religious group or the other.No stress at all to also find people who belongs to two or more religion. To them, identification is what matters,why because it makes you belong and sound religious like others.Infact you can make religious comments and share postings on social media without really believing them.

  The unfortunate thing is that,the way to religion may be wider and very broad, but the way to heaven remains constant in size. Very STRAIT AND NARROW and can only accommodate few. Because few get in there,therefore, one must strife to be among the successful few.The last time I check, God has not decided to increase it's size by expansion.Though many on their own has tried to expand their own version so as to accommodate many with their loads.This is falsehood,fraudulent and deceitful.

  The truth remain that,there are TWO destinations HEAVEN and HELL.your decision and the PATH you take determine your destination.One can only get to one of the destinations.
Should we because we don't want to offend someone refuse to say the TRUTH? God forbid that we should join the bandwagon to be men pleasers.
Therefore,genuine repentance and a change of life style is necessary to have Jesus and to make heaven at last.

  As we seek to bring many into the fold,care must also be taken to preserve and retain many already within.The battle is raging and is it very fierce.Mind control is the bone of contention,and the media is the medium.

STAND TO DEFEAT THEM AS THEY COME

I n this last days,if you must overcome as a believer,you must rise against these giants and remain steadfast to the end.

Here we I shall spell out the giants:
G  - GREED.
I   -  IMMORALITY.
A  - ANGER.
N  - NEGLIGENCE.
T  - TONGUE.


GREED

'' He who is greedy for gain troubles his own house,
But he who hates bribes will live. Proverbs 15:27

'' But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.''1Timothy 6:9-10

The world measures you by your riches and popularity and many believers are cought up in this web.  The passionate search for wealth and more riches has left many believers' faith in the muddy waters.
And the preaching well centred on wealth and riches has also done more harm than good to the once steadfast christian.
In the process of acquiring much by all means,they have pierce themselves with hot Iron.And the damage sometime very difficult to undo.

 "So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.'' Exodus 23:25-26.

"Then it shall come to pass, because you listen to these judgments, and keep and do them, that the Lord your God will keep with you the covenant and the mercy which He swore to your fathers.And He will love you and bless you and multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flock, in the land of which He swore to your fathers to give you.You shall be blessed above all peoples; there shall not be a male or female barren among you or among your livestock.And the Lord will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you.''Deuteronomy 7:12-15

The Lord's promise to bless His people is very sure and unfailing.All the beliver has to do is to be diligent with what so ever his/her hands finds to do,and the blessing and increase from the Lord follows.But when the believer pursue riches by all means,on his/her return,not without scars on his/her spiritual body.To all His children,His blessings are in complete package.

THE LORD'S COUNSEL TO ALL HIS OWN

''But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.''1TIMOTHY 6:11-12

''And He said to them, "Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses."Luke 12:15 

Your decision to stand and remain steadfast will depend much on your inner strength and your total and complete reliance on the Lord and His word.Your daily unsevered connection and relationship with the Savior remains your greatest advantage.

IMMORALITY

''Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.''2Timothy 2:22. 

''Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.1Corinthians 6:18-20.

  One of the most effective and successful weapons of the devil is immorality.And he has truly maximise it uses at this endtime.
The advent of the internet has increase the burden of immorality on every christian who has not placed a permanent guard on his/her heart.His/her heart will be the battle groud for the naked pictures that flys across the web,our work places and our streets.If that heart has not been taken to calvary for a total and a complete purging,cleansing and entirely sanctified for a daily walk with the Lord,it will be a tall order.Without a consistent subjecting of the heart to the Holy Spirit scrutiny,living victoriously will be very be difficult.

ANGER

''Do not hasten in your spirit to be angry,
For anger rests in the bosom of fools.'' Ecclesiastes. 7:9

9 Do not hasten in your spirit to be angry,

''A quick-tempered man acts foolishly,
And a man of wicked intentions is hated.'' Prov 14:17-18

''Make no friendship with an angry man,
And with a furious man do not go, 
 Lest you learn his ways
And set a snare for your soul.'' Prov 22:24-25

Moses almost missed it,he saw the promise land but was not permitted to have access.Though he made it to heaven.Are you a christian,but not free from anger?In fact,when yours begin to rage,it has the tendency of consuming every one around,and has gradually become your trade mark.It is time to take it to calvary. 
 If the bible call them foolish,and foolishness is not of God.Then some thing must be done about it.

NEGLIGENT 

''My sons, do not be negligent now, for the Lord has chosen you to stand before Him, to serve Him, and that you should minister to Him and burn incense." 2Chronicles 29:11.

Many like Jonah,are in constant dodging and making of excuses to the Lord at these last days.They some times hide their identity and even hide their bible and deny Christ at the critical hour.

Stand for the Lord any where,every where and do His service,bear His name across the land.Be deligent to serve Him also in His vineyard.Do not be negligent to answer His call when the oppotunity beckons.

TONGUE 

James 3:1-13

 My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment. 2 For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body. 3 Indeed, we put bits in horses' mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body. 4 Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. 5 Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things.

See how great a forest a little fire kindles! 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell. 7 For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind. 8 But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. 9 With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. 10 Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so. 11 Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening? 12 Can a fig tree, my brethren, bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh.  

  Have you ever heard a christian talking and you began to question why should he/she be talking like that.The use of His tongue was not glorifying at all,not even to the Almighty God.

 The easiest way to score a christian and to descern the content of His heart,is through his/her tongue.

Take it to calvary,if your tongue do not measure up,He can work on it and perfect it for the use to promote His kingdom,drawing many to the Lord,edifying believers and glorifying God.

May your tongue fulfill His purpose.Amen.

IT'S TIME TO FORGIVE YOURSELF,IF HE HAS FORGIVEN YOU

WHY DO YOU BIND YOURSELF?

 
   A sincere seeker once asked a question,can God truly and completely fogive all my sins? because they are very grievious and are very many.After his sincere confessions and genuine repentance,he continues with the same mindset of guilt and punishment.Because his sins,according to him,were very many and very grievious.He thought he should have paid heavily or received greater punishment to apeace God.He find it difficult to believe that it is only through sincere confessions,genuine repentance and simply believing on the Lord Jesus Christ settles all.To him,it was too cheap at the initial stage.

  The voice of guilt is always so strong as a result of your wrongs of the past.And will keep pounding you until you discover,a still super counter voice more powerful than that which speaks through your past deeds.I call it,the voice of the accuser.

  When all known sins has been sincerely confessed,genuinely repented of and restitution made where necessary,remain unruffled in His saving grace.
Having the witness within of the Saviour's manifold pardon and believing on  His finished work,are solid platforms upon which you must stand.
Complete and total internalisation of His promises of forgiveness and forgetfulness of your past,lies your victory.

'' For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more."  Hebrew 8:12

  Devil,the accuser,intimidates and harass as many believers who are very ignorant of the potency and the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus.He violate their right to always maintain a conscience void of offence towards God and man.

WHY DO CHRISTIANS DENY JESUS AT CRITICAL HOUR TODAY?

WAYS BELIEVERS DENY JESUS TODAY

''Enter ye in at the strait gate:for wide is the gate,and broad is the way,that leadeth to destruction,and many there be which go in thereat:Because strait is the gate,and narrow is the way,which leadeth unto life,and few there be that find it''.Matthew 7:13-14

 The broad way is the way of  the multitude,and it is very popular.The people on this path way receives much accolades and publicity.
The narrow way is the way of the few.Few because, there are alot of baggages it will not accommodate,and it is very unpopular.Genuine people on this path way receives less publicity.Infact,those who are vehemently walking on this path way without looking back are highly unpopular in the world.
From these two extremes,the people on the broad way hate those on the narrow way with passion.While those on the narrow way loves those on the broad way with the love of God.

SEEKING ACCEPTABILITY

''If the world hate you,ye know that it hated me before it hated you.If ye were of the world,the world would love his own:but because ye are not of the world,but I have chosen you out of the world,therefore the worrld hateth you''.John15:18-19.

''I have given them thy word;and the world hath hated them,because they are not of the world,even as I am not of the world''.John 17:14

''The world can not hate you;but me it hateth,because I testify of it,that the works thereof are evil.''John 7:7

   Many christians due to inability to cope with rejections and hatreds as a result of standing for Jesus, begin to seek approval from the world.When a christian start seeking world's acceptance and approval,he/she starts compromising on christian convictions and standards.
He/she starts diluting the Truth,making it appealing to the world.
In his/her mouth,repentance becomes an outdated story,and sin begin to wear gorgeous apparel.
To him or her christian dressing/comportment/appearance is not an issue.Telling ''little lies''(Revelation 21:8) to avoid punishment is a way of applying wisdom.
   The life style of a believer should not be questioned at all.''God only look at the heart''according to him/her.

FEAR OF MAN

''The fear of man bringeth a snear:but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.''
Proverbs 29:25.

''And of whom hast thou been affraid or feared,that thou hast lied,and hast not remembered me,nor laid it to thy heart?have not I held my peace even of old,and thou fearest me not?''
Isaiah 57:11.

Peter denied Jesus thrice because he was afraid for his life.(John18:17,25,27).But after his restoration,Apostle Peter was a bold,fearless and couragous preacher.(Acts 4:1-20).To God be the glory.
Many believers are afraid  of loosing their lives,jobs,friends,valuables,positions,titles,wealth,etc.Because of these,they deny Jesus.

''And I say unto you my friends,be not afraid of them that kill the body,and after that have no more that they can do.But I will forwarn you whom ye shall fear:fear Him,which after He hath killed hath power to cast into hell;yea,Isay unto you,fear Him.''Luke 12:4-5.

FAITHLESSNESS AT THE POINT WHEN FAITH WAS REQUIRED

''If thou faint in the day of adversity,thy strength is small.''Proverbs 24:10.

  At each crititcal moment that ever come to challenge your faith in Jesus.Let it be at the back of your mind,that opportunity to advertise,glorify and take the name of the lord further is before you.
You must take a stand for the Lord,because these times are also your season of promotions.He has promised never to leave you nor for sake you.(Daniel 3,6.Gen.37,39,40,41).

FORGETTING THE MESSAGE

''And the Lord turned,and looked upon Peter,and Peter remembered the word of the lord,how He had said unto him,before the cock crow,thou shall deny me thrice.''Luke 22:61.

''Remember Lot's wife.''Luke 17:32.

  It was painful to Peter,because it was a disappointment on his part to have forgotten the master's message.
During trials,you may be tempted to forget the master's warnings.Do your best to remember them,because it is at these times you need them most.

FRIENDSHIP WITH THE WORLD

''Ye adulterers and adulteresses,know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God?Who soever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.''James 4:4.

''Love not the world,neither the things that are in the world.If any man love the world,the love of the Father is not in him.For all that is in the world,the lust of the flesh,and the lust of the eyes,and the pride of life,is not of the Father,but is of the world.''1John 2:15-16.

The world we are talking about are systems and practices that oppose God and righteousness.

TAKING PLEASURE IN THE ACURSED THINGS

''Who knowing the judgment of God,that they which commit such things are worthy of death,not only do the same,but have pleasure in them that do them.''Roman 1:32.

  Yes,you may not necessarily engage in acting porn clips,but you take pleasure in watching them.You talk against soft porn musical clips in the open,but relish it in your closeth.These items appeal so strongly to your flesh.You appreciates the fashion styles of this world,and the likes.It is time to visit calvary in it real sense.

UNEQUALLY YOKED

14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

If your best friends are the people that oppose Christ,it is very likely that you may join them soon.
Make friends of God's people.

JOINING THE CHURCH WITHOUT GENUINE CONVERSION.

Acts 8:9-24

  This is a story about Simon the magician.This man join the people of God without submitting his heart to Jesus for a genuine transformation.The act of pretence is like a smoke under seal,smoke will always look for an opening to announce it presence.You can't cover smoke for so long,but will definitely come out with time.Many has joined the genuine church of God without repenting from their sins and surrender their hearts to the Lord.Their life style out side the church has made mockery of God's transforming word to the people that know them.
Without genuine conversion,I mean having an en counter with Jesus,merely joining the church can not equal heaven.There's no guarantee of being with the Lord eternally.

''And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.''Matthew 24:12-13

At His appearing,may He find you faithful and still watching.

MAMA'S ONLY PITCHER JUST GOT BROKEN

EVELYN BROKE ONE OF MAMA'S CHERISHED ASSETS.

    In  one of the remote communities in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria,west Africa.There was an old woman who happened to live alone because her two chlidren were all in the city for a greener pastures.

who is that?,Mama responded to a knock on her front door.We are  the one,the visitors answered.Can't you mention your names?Mama echoed.Your grand children are here.The visitors responded.Mama immediately dashed to her front door to welcome her grand children.Eviii..(short for Evelyn),Akan, how are you and your parent? Look at my children,they are now grown up adults.I last set my eyes on you six years ago when you were 7 and 4 year old.How time flies!

     What are my going to give to my children..o, Mama talked to self as she ran to her kitchen.Lo and behold,no cooked food was left in the pots.

Mama began to pull items out to prepare food for her august visitors,it was another surprise for Mama,when she discovered that there was no drop of water left in the pitcher.Mama was very determine to entertained  her grand children she has not seen for quite a long time with a sumptuous meal to be prepared by her own God given fingers.Mama ,with the pitcher in her hand was getting set to go to the near by steam.

    Emilia,25,their nanny,who also accompanied them to spend their long vacation with their grand mother,grabbed the pitcher.Mama,you can't do this,don't worry, we will fetch the water.Evelyn and Emilia prevailed on Mama.Evelyn insisted she must be the one to bear the pitcher.As you people are going,be very careful, the road is not good..o.Mama warned.

Meanwhile,the road to the stream has been well designed and decorated with potholes by the erosion.

    Their journey to the stream was a successful one.They fetched and the pitcher was well placed on Evelyn's head by Emilia.Can you carry it,are you sure you can carry it?Emilia asked.I will prove to you that this pitcher is too small for me to carry.Evelyn boasted.Their journey home was smooth untill the unexpected happened.Evelyn missed her steps,and mama's only pitcher landed on the ground.You've broken mama's only pitcher,Emilia exclaimed repeatedly.O! mama's only pitcher,how about the food,what about the joy of our visit,Evelyn queried as she cried to high heaven.

    My daughter, what's the matter?an elderly man who arrived on an old ricketed bicycle asked.My daughter stop crying,I will mould the pitcher back to it original shape.The old man promised as he stoopped down to pick the pieces of the broken pitcher.Stop crying my daughter,with these pieces, I will make a new pitcher for you.The old man reassured Evelyn.

    Don't throw away the broken pieces of your life,approach the Lord Jesus,He can mould you back

 into a brand new vessle.

ONE OF THE REASONS FOR THE DELAYED REVIVAL IN THE LOCAL CHURCH

                           LET GIVE HIM A CHANCE

                                                             Matthew 21:12-13

       Usually when a visiting servant of God or supervising minister is coming to a local church,the choir will double their preparation to give their best.The  ushers and the security officials will make every one fall in line,intercessors will intensify their prayers and all filthiness and seemingly unclean vessels will be taken away from the temple.The minister without knowing will be assuming that that is how it has always been.And as soon as he finished and left many return to their lukewarmness and nonchalant state.It therefore become difficult for the visiting minister to bring about the needed REVIVAL in that local church.

When Jesus visited the temple at Jerusalem unannounced,He met the temple in it usual state,that was why he was able to bring about the much needed cleansing and brought it the to it original purpose.
If you allow the servant of the Lord to meet you in your usual state without that regular religious decorations and beautifications you will be glad you did.After his ministration,he will leave you cleansed,awakened and revived and well ready to fulfill your original purpose.  

FINAL BLOW AGAINST MASTURBATION

              BREAKING FREE FROM MASTURBATION

     As soon as pornography was conceived and subsequently delivered,his twin brother MASTURBATION was also delivered.The biological mother who was responsible for the incubation of these two urgly things  is call lust.These two walk hand in hand,and are inseparable partners and will continue to be.

      These duo has actually lived up to their nature of oppressing and enslaving their victims.And will in no wise set their captive free except by supernatural intervention.They are expert when it comes to bringing guilts,condemnations and shame to any individual who share space or accomodate them.

There's no one I've come across,heard or red about who indulges these tweens that has not experienced guilt,shame,condemnaton or all of them in their hearts and lives.

  MASTURTION

    God wasn't wrong by creating us with sexual desire.This was not done without boundaries.It was to be received and relished within the confines of a long lasting relationship called marriage.Every step taken outside God's set boundaries always pitched any against his/her maker.

     Masturbation is therefore an act of fondling one's genitals for sexual pleasures and satisfactions.It may be acceptable any where,but to a have good relationship with your creator, this unholy and unclean act must be dealt with.

''Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness the lusts of their own hearts,to dishonor their own bodies between themselves.''Rom.1:24.

''I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmitty of your flesh:for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity;.....''Rom.6:19.

''....and that I shall bewail many which have sinned already,and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed''.2Cor.12:21.                                          


''Now the works of the flesh are manifest,which are these ;adultery,fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,....''Gal.5:19.

''But fornication,and all uncleanness......''  Eph.5:3.

''For God hath not called us unto uncleanness,but unto holiness''.1Thes.4:7

''But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness,....''2Peter 2:10.

     A victim once confessed ''each time I indulge in it I feel dirty,condemned,shamed and my heart is always full of guilts''.
    Another said''could you believe me that often times I will leave my wife on the bed in the middle of the night to be left alone in the parlor masturbating while watching porn? It was that bad.
     Many marriages are at the verge of collapse while some others have had their funeral arrangement concluded as a result of these monters.As a young man or woman hoping to get married some day but  presently under the claws of MASTURBATION.The good news is that, there is a way out.

 REPENTANCE

   Prov.28:13; 1John19

    Let those tears of yours flows freely before the God of mercy in humble repentance.In repentance,you come the way you are, helpless before Him who alone can help.You pour out your heart,and make every secrets open before the lord.This prayer is not always that'' hit and run'' type but a passionate and a sincere cry before the Savior.
     I pray during this time,may you experience that condition of heart where nothing on earth is important to you than the father's forgiveness.Pray untill you have the witness of the spirit within that you have been forgiven.
                               

 DON'T REMAIN  IN A DEFEATED CAMP

  Acts 2:41-42

   Make new friends with God's people.Find a fellowship and belong for prayers and other spiritual support.You must not stand alone.Ocupy yourself with serving and helping others.

 CONFIDE IN SOME BODY

    For an accountability check,find a matured believer,a friend in deed who will not judge you but will be an example,encourager,inspiration and a prayer partner to you.Some one who will from time to time serve as a check and also to track your spiritual progress.

   READ AND INTERNALISE THE WORD

    Heb.4:12; John15:3

   Read and meditate upon the word of God regularly because the word of God is quick, powerful and also a cleansing agent.It gives you strength in weakness and emboldens you in the fight.
Get a copy of the bible if you do not have one.

 DON'T BE ASHAMED TO CARRY JESUS WHERE EVER YOU GO

  Rom.1:16

   Wear Him as a garment and preach Him as a message every where because He is your defence and support.

   AVOID EVERY TRIGGER

     1Thes. 5:22 ; 2Tim.2:22
  Do your best to avoid any thing that will take you back to it.Run away from them.

    May the Lord keep you through His grace and preserve you in Him.Amen.

A SURE WAY OUT OF PORNOGRAPHY

                         PORNOGRAPHY; ONE OF DEVIL'S MOST EFFECTIVE TOOLS

      On a door to door evangelism one day,I saw a middle aged man leaning on a stationary vehicle.The Spirit of the Lord led us to him,as we made our intention known to him.No sooner he granted us audience,the Lord took control of the conversation.Though he was a church goer,but well frustrated in life,with wife and kids.One of his challenges was an urgent freedom from bondage to pornography.In his words,''I ensured my wife and kids do not have access to those porn videos because it will be too bad for them''.Who told him it was wrong?He is not under trial here because he is now a new creature.I'am giving you his story as a testimony that JESUS is still transforming lives. In the end he gave his life to Jesus and became part of His genuine followers.

       While playing foot ball with friends on the street in those days as a little boy.A young man we respected so much as our senior brought a pornographic magazine and publicly displayed it before us without restriction.As regular kids,we looked at those naked images without considering the cost and it implication.That single look was enough to cause real damage to our psyche.The good news is that,the emergence of the Savior permenantly brought the triumph.

       Pornography is satanic,demonic and should be avoided as plagues.It has a far reaching and damaging effects on who so ever toils with it.The youths are highly vulnerable and the most victims.The adults and the married have also soiled their hands.The church is not left out of it's distructive tendencies.

    The late Selwyn Hughes(the writter of the famous devotional material,Everyday with Jesus) was having a meeting with some church people/leaders.In that gathering he asked about how many among them were watching pornography.Many sincerely raised their hands.

A supposed man of God was about dying, as he made his confessions,he discribed how he couldn't defeat the monster called PORNOGRAPHY in his life.

      The true church of God must rise  up to stamp out this scourge and many other sinful habits by preaching JESUS,the undiluted and the liberating gospel with the passion and the urgency it deserves.
If you are a pastor,leader,worker in the Lord's vineyard,and you are trapped in pornography.I plead with you to ignore popularity and respect accorded you by many.Don't hold the truth in unrighteousness,because it would not be to your advantage.Kindly withdraw from the service and seek help so as to save your self and others who are seeking God sincerely.


''I WILL STOP WATCHING PORN WHEN I GET MARRIED''


    If you can't stop it in its infancy,is it when it become a giant tree? I'am affraid,you may not.
The sin of watching the unclean acts(Rom.1:32) or any other sins can only be stopped by repentance and surrendering of one's life to the Lord Jesus.

''And she shall bring forth a son,and thou shalt call his name JESUS:for he shall save his people from their sins''. Matt.1:21

''He that committeth sin is of the devil;for the devil sinneth from the beginning.for this purpose the son of God was manifested,that he might destroy the works of the devil''.1John 3:8.


The solution for sin is only in JESUS and JESUS ALONE.

  

  Many have tried by their power,new year resolutions and some other methods just to be free from the grip,claws and jaws of pornography.To their supprise,the more they tried,the more they are plunged even more deeper into it.
If you are addicted to pornography and you are in dire need of freedom,relax,there's a way out.You will definitely be freed.It will only take the sincerity of your heart,some steps to follow and determination to follow through.

  Though,it started with gratifying the flesh but gradually grown into an overwhelming giant tree that will take Christ to root out.
Some societies has even gone  ahead to declear pornography A PUBLIC HEALTH HAZARD.

Few effects of Pornography on you:

i) You can't think straight.
ii) It makes you live in isolation sometimes because it thrives in secrecy.
iii) when the urge comes,you become restless. 
iv) It leads to masturbation,fornication and adultery.
v) It makes you behave strangely to your spouse.
vi) It destroys your marriage eventually.
vii) It defiles the heart,make you unclean and very dirty.
viii) You can't have a good relationship with your creator.

With uncleaness,no man can stand before the Lord.Because the Lord God is holy.The devil is fully aware of this,that's why he will do every thing possible to keep every victim in unholiness.

You will be freed,but not without a sincere heart.

Step one:  SINCERE REPENTANCE

''He that covereth his sins shall not prosper:but who so confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy''.Prov.28:13

   For freedom to be possible,REPENTANCE is the first and important step you must never avoid or skip.

Repentance starts with the single realisation that,you were created for a purpose to show forth God's glory(Isaiah 43:21;psalm 24:1-2;Deut.10;14;Exo.19:5) but chose to live against His will,purpose and glory.But are now in realization and in readiness to make amends.

Let it start right there(where you are now because the Lord sees every one whether in secret or in the open)with a sincere confession.Ask to be forgiven,be washed and cleansed by the precious blood of JESUS that was shed on the calvary's tree.  

Pray that prayer untill you have the assurance and the witness of the Spirit within that your sins are forgiven.(Rom.8:16; Luke  7:48).

Step two:   ROMOVE/DELETE/BURN EVERY IMAGES,LINKS,ITEMS,MATERIALS, ETC THAT CONNECT YOU WITH PORNOGRAPHY.

''And many that believed came,and confessed,and showed their deeds.Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together,and burned them before all men:and they counted the price of them,and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver''.Acts 19:18-19.

   You must delete all soft copies of pornographic images and videos from all your devices.Burn all hard copies and delete every links.Ensure no trace is left.

Also cut off relationships,friendships and associations that will link you back to this acts.(1Cor.15:33).

Keeping any thing related to it is like leaving banana peels on your path way.

Steo three:JOIN THE BODY OF VICTORIOUS BELIEVERS 

''Iron sharpeneth iron...''prov.27:17).

    You must find and join the fellowship of people of like-minds(I mean the body of believers,those who worship the Lord in truth and spirit,heavenly mminded christians.
Here,you will be sharpened,and exposed more to the word of God.You will have opportunity to ask relevant questions.
ocupy your lonely times and periods with activities,e.g,religious programs.

Step four:FIND YOUR PURPOSE IN THE BODY OF CHRIST AND FULFILL IT 

   As you join the sincere fellowship of God's people,identify your gifting and apply it for the prosperity of the work in the Lord's vineyard.Do it with all your heart,He will definitely reward you at the close of the day.(Matt.20:4,7).

Step five:MEDITATE ON THE WORD OF GOD

  ''Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom.....''.Col.3:16.

  Replace those defiled images that were previously stored up with the word of God by consistent reading,studying and meditation.Make it no bible no breakfast at morning and no bible no sleep at night.Let it be a deliberate and a result oriented bible study.

Step six:REGULAR FASTING AND  PRAYER

  A very important step you must take seriously is a regular fasting life.Regular fasting not only good  for your spiritual life but also giving your spirit man an upper hand over the flesh since both are always in constant battle.

During this fasting,the flesh is put under regular checks and in perpetual subjection.Also strengths are received for any emerging temptation.

    Make it scriptural fasting,couple with prayer and bible reading.In your prayers,ask the lord for grace,strength and support in living to please Him.Also ask Him for a heart circumcision and sanctification.(Deut.30:6:Eze.11:18-20;36:25-26).Ask God to root out and purge from your heart every pornographic items,materials and images,etc. left within your heart.
     Remember,I asked you to disposed every physical things related to pornography.You do same to the spiritual items stored up in the heart that are related to pornography must be purged through passionate prayer for heart circumcision and sanctification.He will definitely give you a new heart to love Him more than all.

May the Lord see you through,keep and preserve you in Him. Amen.

A MUST FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH AS NEW BORN BABES

                 FOR ALL KINGDOM NEW BORN 

     The great deliverance of the children of Israel (by the Lord) from the Egyptian's claws of servitude was for an onward journey to the promise Land.God will not deliver you and leave you there.His deliverances are always ''out of''...''into''.Out of danger into safety,out of darkness into His mavellous light,out of sin nature into His righteous nature,etc.Never a vacuum.

You have been freed to live graciously,therefore,sin must no longer have dominion over you.
Rom.6:12-14,7.

As you leave habitual sins,don't forget sin partners and objects of temptation will always make themselves available.To maintain a steady growth,you must engage in the following spiritual exercise. 

     Here are your exercises 

1) Devour The Holy Scriptures

''As new born babes, desire the sincere milk of the word that ye may grow thereby:if so be ye have tasted that the LORD is gracious''.1peter 2:2-3.

''Thy word have I hid in mine heart that I might not sin against thee''.psalm119:11

''Neither have I gone back from the commandment of His lips;I have esteemed the words of His mouth more than my necessary food''.Job 23:12

''Mine eyes prevent the night watches,that I might meditate in thy word''. psalm 119:148

   Your spiritual food for growth is the word of God as you come into the family of Christ.You must desire and devour the word daily as your only meal for survival.Through the word stored up in your word reservoir, you will from time to time draw out to counter the tempter's suggestions.
 John 4:4,7,10.

 Read,meditate,study and ask relevant questions for here lies your strength.

2)The Power Of Prayer 

''I will call on the Lord,who is worthy to be praised:so shall I be saved from mine enemies''.2Sam.22:4

''Pray without ceasing''.1Thes.5:17

''....that men ought always to pray,and not to faint''.Luke 18:1

''Continue in prayer,and watch in the same with thanksgiving''.Col.4:2

You must continually tap strength through consistent prayer.With the life of prayer you build confidence,trust,total dependence and obtain boldness to ward off tempters.

The word of God in you also play a major part during your prayer times.

3)Fellowship With People Of Like-Precious Faith

''And all that believed were together,and had all things common''.Acts 2:44

''Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together,as the manner of some is;but exhorting one another:and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching''. Heb.10:25

''Iron sharpeneth iron;so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend''.Prov.27:17

    Search for where the Lord is being worshipped in truth and in spirit near you and join.Though there are many places today where falsehood prevails all in the name of God.That not withstanding, there are still few worship centers who has not deviated fom the truth.If you have trully been set free by the Lord,He will definitely (by His Spirit) lead you to a place where you belong and where He put His name.

    There you will be tought the undiluted word of God and your knowledge of the word will be sharpened.

Never ignore the true fellowship of God's people.

4) Evangelism

''For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ;for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth;to the Jew first,and also to the Creek.For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith:as it it written,the just shall live by faith''. Rom.1:16-17  

This is one of the true test of your conversion...because you will always find it difficult to rest untill the last person hear about what the Lord has done for you and what He will also do in their lives.

Your family,friends and neighbors must be the first to recognise the work of His conversion in you.

If they can not trully attest to this fact, I will be the first to doubt your conversion. 

You must preach Christ unto them.

You must be passionate about inviting them to see the Savior who changed your life.

John 4:28-29.

Mark 5:18-20.

   
    Preaching the liberating gospel must be your way of life and there must be no excuse.

Even if you don't know much of the bible;

Tell them about who you were before and what you are now.

Tell them about the transformation that has taken place in your life through the power of Christ.

Keep no silent,but preach the word,because it is the power of God unto salvation.
Develop a personal time for all the above exercise.

May the Lord keep and preserve you in Him till His return.

VICTORY OVER HABITUAL SIN

                                   BREAKING FREE FROM HABITUAL SIN

     So many people within and outside the churches are struggling with one sinful habit or the other.Many in their quest for freedom has sought for it where there are none and as a result gave up hope of ever getting over such destructive habits.With the mind set of ''no body is perfect'',many are continuing with their sinful habits even within the church.Or you must have  been introduced to an habit you now find difficult to be free from.
  
I've seen and heard about many though happily married,some times very religious but are very much into watching of PORNOGRAPHY clips.
You may be struggling with: 

  MASTURBATION,
  ADULTERY,
  FORNICATION,  
  DRUNKENESS,
  ETC.
What so ever the case,I want to assure you there's a way out,many are living testimonies of this victory,yours can not be different.  
                                                  
The qustions are;

   How desperate,
   How passionate,and
   How sincere in heart are you?
If your answers are in the affirmative ''yes I am'' then you will definately be free.


  Step one: 

 LAYING THE PROPER FOUNDATION OF A SINCERE REPENTANCE.

As a proper and a solid foundation is to a building,so is Sincere Repentance is to genuine freedom from habitual sin.
In the book of luke chapter 7:36-50,here I found a story of a woman with real adiction to sinful habits.She was well recognised and known as a sinner in that society.They called her a sinner. 
But she took some steps really worthy of emulation.
    She new that the savior was in town,asked about His location and actually located the savior for a personal encounter.This bring us to the question of being passionate and very desperate.
Proving to the savior how desperate,passionate and sincere she was,she stood at His feet weeping.
       Here she lost her sense of shame by crying in the public for her many sins.
  She must have produced enough water from her eyes to wash the feet of the savior.
Also,to proved her total  and complete surrenderness,hair, which is part of  the fashion and beauty of a woman, she submitted it as a rag for the cleaning of the feet of the savior.
Kissing the feet of the savior was the sign of her submission and readiness to go with the savior no matter how low to obtain her complete freedom.She was indeed a sincere seeker. 
    She broke her ointment of great value upon the savior as a sign of being ready to let go of any thing previously held in high esteem.
The savior said ''thy sins are forgiven''.LUKE 7:47-48.

 Friends,

for you to have a true freedom;
You must come down from your throne,
Seek for and find the savior,
You must be ready to let go of every attachment and indentity with the bondage no matter how precious the are to you.
Lie low at his feet,
Weep and confess your many sins untill you get the assurance of pardon from Him.
If this is done sincerely you will have the witness of the Spirit within you.(Rom.8:16)( matt.1:21;1john 3:8).
This is your first step.
